One of the important partners of Mammoth Gay Ski Week this year is the Purple Foundation. The Purple Foundation hosts the Purple Party, a fun and popular way to celebrate the gay community while raising money for charity.
The Purple Foundation was founded in 2001 and is based out of Dallas, TX. The non-profit organization produces parties to raise funds to service members of the Dallas community living with HIV/AIDS. The foundation provides funds to organizations that help to improve the health, wellness, and overall quality of life for those who need it.
Their partner organizations include AIDS Services of Dallas (ADS), Resource Center Dallas, and Legacy Counseling Center. All of these great organizations serve different needs for the LGBT community, including affordable housing, mental health care, substance abuse treatment, and advocacy.
The Purple Foundation produces several dance parties and social functions over a year, with more than $1.1M in proceeds having been donated since its inception. The 501(c)(3) corporation is an all-volunteer organization that maximizes its ability to distribute its profits to organizations that better the Dallas LGBT community.
This is not to say that the Purple Parties are not glamorous. The Purple Foundation works with some of the world’s most popular DJ’s to bring a high-class experience and electrifying dance party wherever they are hosting. With decades of experience under its belt, the foundation can put on a great dance party with the added benefit of knowing it’s all for a good cause.
The Purple Foundation is a great partner for Mammoth Gay Ski Week, bringing their fun and world-renowned party to the snowy mountains of California. It is an event that can’t be missed for an organization that is integral to the health and well-being of the LGBT members of the Dallas community.
